Writing this post from Jakarta. Yeap finally moved back to this city after staying in Singapore for about 3 years. Its weird tho.. no more assignments and classes, no more starving myself in apartment (dont ask me), no more late night impromptu trip, no more comitee events, i swear it felt strange at first. I thought that i will be completely free after finishing my degree, but well.. i'm wrong. I already schedule my plan until 2016 and its somehow packed. In my free time, i started to read my abandoned novels and one of them is 'the catcher in the rye'. It is depressing. I admit it but it is depressing in a good way?.. idk. Somehow you just can relate to the story even though it contains a lot of swearing. Anyway, no regrets. Definitely a recommended read.
Im such a pro at stealing my mom's wardrobe but now im stealing dad's. This oversized sweater is just too comfy to resist. I'm a sucker for knitted and turtleneck tops these days. I guess i'm embracing the upcoming winter with these kind of apparel ( even though no winter here /sigh).
“Among other things, you'll find that you're not the first person who was ever confused and frightened and even sickened by human behaviour. You're by no means alone on that score, you'll be excited and stimulated to know. Many, many men have been just as troubled morally and spiritually as you are right now. Happily, some of them kept records of their troubles. You'll learn from them—if you want to. Just as someday, if you have something to offer, someone will learn something from you. It's a beautiful reciprocal arrangement. And it isn't education. It's history. It's poetry.”
― J.D. Salinger, The Catcher in the Rye
Have a great day ahead!
